The Head of Affiliates - Partnerships & Revenue is responsible for day to day management of affiliate relationships, content strategy, and audience growth, to deliver on the News Corp Australia's eCommerce strategy. The role will also lead the innovation and strategy function, looking at ways to improve, change and grow ecommerce opportunities across all NCA websites. The role sits on the eCommerce senior leadership team working closely with the Director of eCommerce, Managing Editor eCommerce & Affiliates and content and product leads to deliver on shared KPIs.
**What's the role?**
- Oversee the affiliate partnerships function.
- Create agreements for flat fees and content plans with affiliate networks and clients.
- Support expansion of service journalism content that is capable of having contextual relevant ecommerce solutions.
- Assist the Marketing Manager to manage relevant marketing, promotions and retention activities.
- Oversee SEO strategy and its informing of content plans.
- Oversee audience initiatives with Apple News and Taboola.
- Data, insights and analysis of metrics regarding traffic acquisition and the performance/conversion of articles and clients.
- Work with the finance team to provide revenue reports.
- Provide ad-hoc commercial reports.
- Give input to the Product and TDD teams to develop the new website design and the UX solutions for Little Birdie and similar widgets and solutions.
- Assist the team with commercial projects and network efforts, eg. affiliate automation and commerce experiences projects.
- Manage and oversee the performance of the TAUS Wine Club.
**Who you are**
- Experience working with retailers on an affiliate or marketing services basis.
- Experience working with affiliate networks and services such as Commission Factory, Partnerize, Skimlinks.
- Preferable experience in publishing.
- Previous experience developing a strong, functional and influential relationship with key stakeholders.
