Myndshift Group has been engaged by a leading mining services business based in Paget to recruit 4 x Heavy Diesel Fitter to join their growing workshop team. Supporting major mobile plant rebuild and repair programs, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long‐term role with consistent hours and a strong pipeline of work.
This is a permanent opportunity on a 7/7 day shift only roster, offering strong earning potential and the chance to be part of a high‐performing team.
About the Role
Working in a well‐equipped Mackay workshop, you will be responsible for heavy fabrication and structural rebuilds, with a strong focus on Liebherr T282 haul truck rebuilds.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete rebuilds and overhauls on ultra‐class mining equipment
* Work across major components including engines, hydraulics, and drive systems
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in line with OEM standards
* Interpret technical drawings and service manuals
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Skills and Experience
* Trade qualified Diesel Fitter
* Proven experience working on ultra‐class mining equipment
* Experience with Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr, or similar OEM machinery
* Strong experience in rebuilds and component overhauls
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
