We are working with a tier-one Australian law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join their Projects team within their Perth office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Projects & Transactions practice, working on some of the most high-profile and complex Energy projects across Australia. The candidate’s duties will include advising on joint ventures and JOAs, acquisitions and divestments in the mining and oil & gas sectors, project development and expansions, including renewables transactions, and supporting clients in regulatory matters, involving mining and oil & gas operations and the supply of electricity and gas.
The candidate will play a key role in leading on high-value mining, oil & gas and energy transactions in Australia, as well as supporting clients on national and cross-border transactions and projects involving assets across Australia, Asia and Papua New Guinea.
* 4+ years’ PQE;
* Strong background in mining, oil & gas, or renewables within a medium to large commercial firm;
* Strong academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team;
