What You'll Do
* Prepare and present dishes to Hilton's high standards of quality and consistency
* Complete all mise en place for relevant menus
* Support the kitchen brigade and collaborate across departments
* Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross‑contamination in all work areas
* Monitor food costs and contribute to revenue targets
* Report maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues promptly
* Comply with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
* Strive to meet departmental goals as part of a dynamic team
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef
* NVQ Level 1 (Level 2 preferred) or equivalent qualification
* Strong English communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
* Team player with a passion for learning and culinary excellence
* Completion of a basic food hygiene course
* Accredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship
Desirable
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
* Experience in high‑standard, fast‑paced kitchen environments
