The Role
We are seeking a highly competent and motivated Forensic or Analytical Chemist to join our specialist team. This role will provide technical direction to the development of chemical analysis methods and the validation of said methods.
* Provide technical input and support to method development of chromatography and spectroscopy techniques
* Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis on recovered samples
* Develop standards and prepare complex sample matrices for analytics
* Advise on initial presumptive and confirmatory analysis of chemicals, reagents, and equipment
Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian citizen, eligible for AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 minimum), and hold a Degree in Forensic Science (Chemistry and Toxicology) or Analytical Chemistry.
