This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent and Fixed Term Part Time and Full Time positions with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Position profile:
* Lead the Safety After Hours for Everyone (SAFE) multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patients, providing a link between the out–of–hours service and in–hour teams, and facilitate patients receiving optimal care in the correct location.
* Promote patient safety and quality of care.
* Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training and other health workers.
* In collaboration with the Head/Deputy Head of Department and other consultants, work to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets.
* Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
