Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders on special projects and milestones; plan and produce high-quality videos, animations, and digital content that tell memorable and inspiring Deakin stories.
- Collaborate with University Communications teams and internal stakeholders to identify and deliver ideas for impactful multimedia content.
- Lead the creative process for digital content by developing concepts, storyboards, and scripts that communicate Deakin’s delivery of its strategic plan.
- Support the production and publication of high-quality, brand-aligned multimedia assets (videos, graphics, animations, publications, interactive experiences) for a range of internal and external channels.
- Coordinate the production, scheduling, and timely delivery of digital content, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Qualifications and experience
- A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in the communication field.
- Relevant experience in video content creation, digital media production, graphic design, or a related field, with 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in producing high-quality digital content (videos, animations, graphics), preferably within a marketing or communication context.
- Advanced proficiency in video production (filming, editing, post-production), animation, and motion graphics using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or Davinci Resolve, with the ability to create engaging content for diverse platforms.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality content on time, and collaborating with stakeholders.
