About us: Woorabinda Multipurpose Health Service offer a range of health services including emergency, acute inpatient and outpatient care. Check it out > Duaringa Things to Do | Places to Visit in Queensland About the role: * Experienced in working collaboratively and respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. * Conduct both vehicle mounted and foot patrols of all internal and external areas of the Woorabinda Multi-Purpose Health Service, facilities and accommodation sites to ensure a safe and secure environment for all staff, visitors, and patients. * Responding to calls for assistance and the management of aggressive patients and visitors on health services land as per the aggressive behaviour management protocols and methodology within response time requirements. * Report maintenance issues including breakages, identified hazards and risks. About you: * Well-developed knowledge in the methods, techniques and procedures involved with the provision of Fire Safety and Security services within a healthcare setting. * Demonstrated successful communication, oral and written (both hard copy and electronic) skills relevant to the position, including conflict resolution skills. * Demonstrated ability to prioritise work commitments and manage time effectively. * Demonstrated ability of working effectively with the public, in a First Nation Community and in a small Team. * Ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices, including Workplace Health and Safety, Employee Equity, Anti-Discrimination and ethical behaviours. * Demonstrated ability to work with in a multi-disciplinary environment.
