Chief Liquidity Officer Position Overview
The role of Chief Liquidity Officer is a senior leadership position that plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm's investment strategy. This position requires a blend of quantitative rigour, commercial judgement, and regulatory awareness to manage risk and optimise outcomes for investors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily management of portfolio liquidity in alignment with regulatory and board parameters.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with investment mandates and covenant requirements.
• Provide detailed reporting and insights to internal committees, executives, and external stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of liquidity and asset management specialists.
• Contribute to broader strategic initiatives across the Asset Management division.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal departments, rating agencies, and governance bodies.
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in financial services within Treasury, Financial Markets, or Portfolio Management.
• Demonstrated management, leadership and committee reporting experience.
• Strong analytical skills and high-level proficiency in Excel; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Refinitiv is desirable.
• Familiarity with derivatives (including FX) is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
