Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation (LNAC) is the peak advocacy and support agency for the Larrakia people, the traditional landowners of the Greater Darwin area. LNAC has evolved into a vital service delivery organisation focussed on addressing the social, cultural and economic aspirations of the Larrakia people by initiating and administering programs, projects and services for the broader Aboriginal community.
LNAC is a not-for-profit organisation, receiving the majority of its operating expenses from funding from the NTG & Commonwealth Government.
About the role:
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and supports Board governance for Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation (LNAC).

Conditions of employment covered by the Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation Enterprise Agreement 2024. Salary range starting at $40.03 per hour. Option to salary package a maximum of $15,899 from your gross salary each year; 5 weeks pro rata annual leave per year; and a 35-hour week. Key responsibilities
* Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, travel, and correspondence to ensure efficient time management and professional communication.
* Prepare high-quality documents, reports, briefings, and presentations as required.
* Support the CEO with the implementation and tracking of strategic priorities and stakeholder engagements.
* Represent the CEO's office with professionalism and cultural integrity.
Executive Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
* Support CEO-led meetings and events, ensuring documentation and action items are captured and followed through.
* Foster respectful relationships with internal teams, Elders, community members, partners, and government stakeholders.
Board Governance Support
* Liaise with the Chairperson, Directors, and Executive Team to support governance and communication processes.
* Assist with preparation of governance reports and submissions for regulatory bodies and funding partners.
General
* Act as the first point of contact for the CEO's office and undertake additional duties as directed, consistent with LNAC's strategic direction.
* Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
Key Selection Criteria
* Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Aboriginal culture and society and the issues affecting Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory.
* Demonstrate a Minimum 5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant to the CEO or Executive Manager.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to problem solve and be adaptable in a sometimes-fluid operating environment.
* Demonstrate an ability to balance priorities and work to tight deadlines.
* Possess a highly proficient written and verbal communication skills, including exceptional attention to detail
* Demonstrate strong stakeholder relationship skills with experience working with a diverse range of people
* Demonstrate an ability to exercise discretion and sensitivity regarding confidential issues
* A valid Working with Children (OCHRE) Card, Current NT Driver's Licence (C Class minimum), Current Police check
