We have built a reputation on integrity, reliability, and attention to detail. Now, we are growing — and we're on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Quoter / Estimator to help us price and plan jobs across the residential, commercial, and civil sectors.
About You:
You're a practical thinker with hands-on experience in civil or roadworks quoting and estimating. You know your way around a site, can read technical drawings with ease, and you thrive on delivering accurate quotes that win jobs.
You're a team player, organised and dependable, and have a strong understanding of what goes into an asphalt or bitumen project — from start to finish. You also love a good team atmosphere where you can have a laugh but also get the work done.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately prepare quotes for a wide range of asphalt and bitumen projects
* Conduct or review site assessments to determine scope and challenges
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Calculate material quantities, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs
* Identify risks, site constraints, and build contingencies into estimates
* Maintain organised records of estimates, pricing, and site notes
Skills & Requirements:
* Minimum 2–3 year's experience in quoting/estimating for asphalt, bitumen or roadworks
* White Card (required)
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
* Strong working knowledge of road surfacing materials and construction methods
* High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking
* Comfortable with computers and estimating tools
* Physically fit and able to attend site inspections
* Good communicator, team-oriented and reliable
