Opportunity
Reporting to the Dealer Principal, the Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales department to achieve volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives. This role oversees sales staff performance, inventory management, customer experience, and compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards. The Sales Manager drives revenue growth through effective leadership, training, and strategic planning.
Key Accountabilities
* Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales target
* Lead daily sales meetings and monitor team KPI
* Manage lead allocation and closing performance
* Coach and develop sales consultants
* Review and approve deals prior to F&I submission
* Monitor gross profit, expenses, and compliance
* Oversee inventory levels, aging stock, and merchandising
* Ensure an outstanding customer buying experience
Ideal Candidate
* A proven background in sales, sales management and within a Recreational Vehicle dealership or similar industry
* Strong leadership and communication skills essential to provide direction and training to the team
* Meticulously organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* The ability to bring customer delight, maximising customer satisfaction, retention and brand loyalty
* High level of integrity with all internal and external stakeholders
