We will provide vital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Western Health, this state-of-the-art facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria.
THE POSITION
* Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure efficient hospital operations.
* Work closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health staff to optimise bed management.
* Track real-time occupancy levels and anticipate service demands.
* Oversee non-clinical services such as transport, cleaning, and catering to support patient care.
* Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and provide insights to improve efficiency.
* Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and regulated environment.
THE PERSON
* Previous roles in patient services, bed management, or hospital operations.
* Strong foundation in patient-facing or client service roles, ensuring excellent communication and support.
* Familiarity with hospital management systems, patient databases, or scheduling tools.
* Proven ability to handle urgent requests, multitask effectively, and problem-solve under time constraints.
* Able to work collaboratively across different hospital departments to improve patient flow.
* Anticipates needs, responds to changes, and continuously looks for process improvements.
* Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
