At Blue Projects, we seek an experienced project leader to drive business growth in our Sydney office.
The successful candidate will oversee projects from conceptualization to delivery, developing and managing relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine project specifications by collaborating with the project team
* Negotiate contracts with external partners
* Obtain necessary permits and licenses
* Evaluate resource requirements within budget constraints
* Develop operational plans and schedule intermediate phases
* Manage team members and allocate responsibilities
* Lead project interactions with clients and contractors
* Analyze progress and prepare detailed reports
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a construction project manager with a focus on industrial projects
* Minimum 5 years of experience in this role
* In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
* Familiarity with quality and health and safety Australian standards
* Proficient in MS Office
* Familiarity with construction/project management software
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* A team player with leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
* BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or a relevant field
* PMP or equivalent certification
* Knowledge of the food industry, manufacturing, and packaging processes
