Principal Engineer (Civil)
This senior role requires strong project management capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to mentor staff while coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Lead and manage the delivery of infrastructure maintenance and rehabilitation projects.
* Act as the Principal's Representative on construction contracts and oversee procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
* Provide high-level technical and engineering advice to ensure project success, value for money, and adherence to standards.
* Monitor progress reporting, financial forecasting, and quality assurance.

The Ideal Candidate
You are a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with significant experience managing road infrastructure projects, from design through to delivery.
* Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of road infrastructure projects, particularly in urban and high-speed road environments.
* Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement processes, and tender evaluation.
* Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.

Mandatory Requirements
* A four-year Washington Accord accredited Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia).
* RPEQ registration (or eligible and committed to obtaining it).
* Current Class C driver's licence.
* White Card (Construction Industry Induction).
* Provision of suitable PPE.
* Ability to pass a Criminal History Check.
