Paediatric Occupational Therapist Role

About the Job:
This is a rewarding role for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred therapy services. You will work with children accessing early intervention and school-aged services, providing a range of therapies within the clinic and community.
* Provide occupational therapy and assessment services in clinic and schools.
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure family-centered practice.
* Educate teachers and family members where required.
* Manage a diverse caseload in social skills, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing, assistive technology, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing expert occupational therapy services to children and families, including:
* Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans.
* Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need.
* Providing direct therapy sessions to children and families.
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* AHPRA registration or ability to obtain.
* Experience working within the disability sector.
* Experience working with paediatric clients.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team.
* National Police Clearance.
* Working With Children Check.
* Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
