At Green Leaves Early Learning, we take pride in building a learning environment where children are inspired to be curious about taste and flavour. Working closely with the Centre Chef at Green Leaves Early Learning Highlands, each day you can:
* Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
* Greet our wonderful families with a big, warm, friendly smile each day, and wow them with your barista-made coffees and freshly baked treats (barista training provided if required)
* Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators
* Ensure the highest level of food safety by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen in accordance with the Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
* Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen in running each day smoothly.

Ideally, we'd love for you to hold:
* A current Food Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
* A current State relevant Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
* Current Child Protection Training (or have the willingness to obtain)
* Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or have the willingness to obtain)
National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience cooking for young children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age
* Availability to work 20 hours per week and be flexible with days and times
* The willingness to step up into the Chef's role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
