Job Description
* Assist with the development and implementation of the Goods and Services Procurement Framework
* Ensure procurement processes align with organisational policies and guidelines
* Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and cost‑saving opportunities
* Support tendering activities, including preparing documentation and evaluating submissions
* Provide advice to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices
* Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier agreements
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Advisor should have:
* A solid understanding of procurement principles and practices
* Experience in preparing tender documentation and evaluating supplier proposals
* Experience in procurement within infrastructure or construction environments (Vic Gov experience desirable)
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
