About the Role
The Team Lead is responsible for the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing support across BDO's Microsoft 365 Productivity and Collaboration suite, including core tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and enterprise services such as distribution lists, Planner, Viva, and AvePoint. The role works closely with technology, information security, and business stakeholders to ensure reliability, security, and effective use while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery and optimisation of the Microsoft 365 Productivity and Collaboration suite in line with agreed roadmaps and standards.
* Ensure collaboration platforms are configured and operated in line with governance, security, and compliance standards.
* Coordinate work across technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective collaboration and communication outcomes.
* Establish and maintain clear success metrics, adoption targets, and feedback loops.
* Support the introduction and adoption of Microsoft 365 capabilities to ensure consistent and effective use across the organisation, applying change management methodologies (Prosci).
* Embed structured ITSM processes aligned to ITIL to ensure operational consistency and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
* Prior experience working with Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration suite in a delivery or support role.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender capabilities.
* Experience collaborating with stakeholders and team members to deliver practical technology outcomes.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, customer centricity, and continuous improvement.
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline (required).
* Additional certifications in Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, or IT service delivery are highly desirable.
