As a Senior Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for leading pastry production and ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role is ideal for an experienced professional seeking to develop their skills and take on new challenges in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation of viennoiserie, following recipes, timelines, and techniques to ensure consistency and quality
* Work collaboratively across the kitchen team to achieve common goals and objectives
* Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the pastry section
* Support the training and development of junior staff members to build their skills and confidence
Requirements:
* Has 2+ years of experience in a pastry production or restaurant kitchen with a proven track record of success
* Ideally has experience with lamination, baking, or kitchen leadership (not essential)
* Demonstrates strong kitchen competency and familiarity with production tools
* Is autonomous, intuitive, and passionate about delivering exceptional pastry products
* Is willing to support the development of junior staff members and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business
