Economic Development is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant (EA) to join the Office of the Executive. About the role As EA to the Deputy Director-General, you will provide high-level confidential administrative and executive support. You’ll manage complex schedules running the day to day of the executive ensuring seamless communication across the organisation and externally with stakeholders of all levels. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the DDG's calendar, travel, meeting logistics and prioritising workflow of business processes. Handling correspondence and enquiries with discretion and efficiency. Handle sensitive documents. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders of all levels and maintaining strong professional relationships. What we are looking for To be competitive for this role you will need: Proven experience as an EA in an Executive office environment within the ACTPS. Outstanding attention to detail, organisational planning and coordination skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A high level of discretion, integrity, independence, accountability and adaptability. Confidence and autonomy working in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
