Experienced Level 2 Network Support Technician
Perth-based MSP seeking a experienced Level 2 helpdesk technician to work in a relatively small & relaxed team, who is able to handle complex support tickets, projects and onsite callouts.
The successful applicant must have a minimum 3 years working in an MSP environment or network admin/IT Support Desk role, and be able to take responsibility for jobs/tasks (ie. "the buck stops with me").
The ability to search for and find solutions to problems, reliability, excellent communication skills and professional presentation are all important qualities for this position.
Required skills include:
Familiarity with common MSP support tools (RMM, remote access, PSA/ticketing, documentation, project management, etc.)
High-level experience in M365 administration, including Sharepoint, Exchange Online, InTune and mail/data migrations
Strong networking fundamentals, including extensive experience with NGFW (Fortinet, Sophos, etc.), managed switches, VLANs, VPNs and UniFi equipment
Understanding of cybersecurity postures, frameworks and compliance (security baselines, password best practices/MFA, Essential Eight, ISO *****, etc.)
Understanding of domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and associated configurations
Proficient with IP phone systems/PBX (3CX, etc.)
Understanding of on-premise server and cloud backup solutions (ShadowProtect, Altaro, Veeam, etc.)
