Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer on a 4-week temporary contract starting mid to late October.
In this position you will be joining a well-respected and highly regarded employer, boasting an outstanding office location easily accessible by car or public transport.
The Role
Working within a friendly team workplace your varied role will include:
- Processing invoices in the accounts payable system
- Process manual invoices in the general ledger and create intercompany journals where required
- Review invoice authorisations
- Reconciling supplier statements with invoices
- Payment of staff reimbursements
- Reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
- Reconciling of petty cash including checking receipts, authorisation, coding and posting in the general ledger
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 12 months' experience in a high-volume transactional environment. You will possess an intermediate level of Excel skills, with an aptitude to learn new finance systems quickly.
Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
