Overview
Business Development Manager (MSP) in Adelaide. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who can grow the business and add long-term value. This role focuses on identifying and winning strategic new business to achieve revenue targets, building an accurate and viable pipeline, understanding customers' objectives and decision-making processes, and forming long-term relationships. You will work with the Sales Director to execute sales strategies and be the primary point of contact for allocated customers to ensure a high level of service. Collaboration with counterparts across APAC is expected.
Responsibilities
* Identifying and winning strategic new business to achieve revenue targets
* Building an accurate and viable sales pipeline
* Understanding the customer's objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes, and forming long-term business relationships
* Working with the Sales Director to execute sales strategies and plans
* Being the primary point of contact for allocated customers to ensure optimal service
* Collaborating with counterparts throughout APAC
Qualifications
* 3–7 years of successful B2B sales experience in an MSP or local IT industry
* Demonstrated success in mid-market sales (50–500 seats)
* Experience managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting to close; ability to work autonomously
* Process-driven with strong focus on pipeline management
* Demonstrated achievement of sales quota goals on a consistent basis
* Proven experience generating leads and cultivating networks
* Proven history of selling technology projects that require multi-level approvals in mid-size organizations
* Experience selling IT infrastructure/services such as IaaS, cloud, data and networking, unified communications
* Formal sales training or frameworks are desirable but not required
* CRM certifications (e.g., HubSpot) or similar are desirable but not required
* Basic technical awareness or vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Cisco) helpful but not required
