The Opportunity
Join a well-established international law firm with a strong government, health and insurance practice led by highly experienced senior lawyers.
Due to organic growth within the firm, an opportunity has arisen for both a junior Lawyer and an Associate on the Government Insurance team.
This role will suit a Lawyer or Associate who wants exposure to complex matters, steady mentoring and a clear development pathway.
You will enjoy working with a truly collaborative team and down to earth partner.
You'll work across personal injury claims, medical negligence, workers' compensation and general insurance disputes for a mix of government and insurer clients.
The work is interesting, varied and well supported.
Responsibilities
Manage a mix of government, health and insurance litigation files
Draft advice, prepare court documents and appear in conferences
Work closely with senior lawyers who invest in training and development
Qualifications
1–4 PQE in insurance litigation (plaintiff or defendant)
Strong drafting skills and a calm approach to technical matters
Interest in government, health and high-quality defence work
