 
        
        **Join the Hampson Honey Team - Honey Extractor / Yard Hand Position**
Hampson Honey is a fully vertically integrated honey company that produces and packs all their own honey, honeycomb and beeswax. We are currently looking for a Honey Extractor / Yard Hand to join our hardworking and friendly team. If you're someone that's not afraid to get your hands dirty (literally!), doesn't mind a bit of buzzing around, and is excited to contribute to our honey production, we want to hear from you!
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the extraction and processing of honey from our hives. 
- Clean extraction equipment and room at the end of extraction. 
- Work alongside a dedicated team to ensure efficiency and the best possible product. 
- Pour beeswax into moulds if required. 
- Perform general yard hand duties to assist the beekeeping team. General duties will include things like building bee boxes, cleaning, putting wax foundation sheets on frames, packing honeycomb, receival and dispatch of honey and occasionally doing deliveries. 
- Practice excellent hygiene as part of our HACCP certification. 
- Record keeping may be required from time to time. 
- Be comfortable working around bees. There is always a chance that you can get stung, although we do everything, we can to minimize the risk where possible. 
- Have a solid work ethic, be reliable, and able to follow safety procedures. 
- Be hands on and not afraid to get their hands dirty. 
- Have the ability to operate tools and other equipment as required. 
- Assist with all tasks as required by our team. 
- Be willing to learn, work hard, fast and take pride in your work. 
- Have good general hygiene practices as required for our HACCP certification. 
- A forklift licence, driver's licence and HR truck licence are not essential but highly advantageous. 
- Previous experience in farming, agricultural roles or food production or manufacturing is advantageous, but not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift 
- Day shift 
- No weekends

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
