About the role
We are seeking an experienced, organised and customer-focused Assistant Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at Peninsula Smiles in Mornington and Mt Eliza, VIC. This part-time role will see you provide critical support to our Practice Manager, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our growing dental practice.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting the Practice Manager with administrative tasks, such as managing appointments, processing payments and handling patient inquiries
2. Supporting the development and implementation of office policies and procedures
3. Helping to coordinate the professional development and training of our dental team
4. Ensuring our practice maintains a high level of organisation and efficiency
5. Acting as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact for our patients
6. Providing backup support for the Practice Manager as needed
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a similar dental administration
2. Strong organisational and time management skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
4. A friendly, customer-focused approach and a commitment to exceptional patient care
5. Proficiency in using dental practice management software and general office technology
6. A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively
