Mr Black is a coffee liqueur born in Australia and now sold around the world. It sits at the intersection of coffee and modern cocktail culture. Social is central to how the brand shows up. We're looking for a hands‐on Content & Social Executive to help bring that world to life. Someone who can make great content, move comfortably through bars and cafes, and help build local momentum through culture. This is a doing role. You'll be out in the world, making things, not managing from a distance.
The Role
You'll create and publish social content, support earned media and cultural moments, and help execute Australia‐specific marketing activity for Mr Black. You'll work closely with the founder inside a small, founder‐led team, with real responsibility and autonomy.
What You'll Do
* Create short‐form social content across Instagram and TikTok, both solo and alongside our production partners
* Shoot and edit content yourself:fast, native, mobile‐first
* Support community management teams, as well as fostering relationships with creators and our community online.
* Help deliver earned media moments, events and partnerships in Australia and abroad
* Support local marketing activity for Mr Black
* Keep things organised and moving within the Australian marketing team
* Domestic & international travel required.
What We're Looking For
2–5 years' experience in content, social, PR or brand roles
Hospitality, drinks or coffee background preferred. This is our world, it should be yours.
Comfortable shooting and editing short‐form content, behind the iPhone and in front.
Good instincts for culture and earned media
Organised, reliable, follows through
Why This Role
Mr Black was acquired by Diageo in 2022 and is now one of Diageo's fastest‐growing brands in the United States. Australia is the home market. You'll work directly with the founder of Mr Black Spirits, inside a founder‐led model, with exposure to both an independent mindset and a global spirits organisation.
