The Opportunity:
Looking for a fresh start or a lifestyle change? This is a fantastic opportunity to join Komatsu as a Field Service Technician in Mount Isa, one of Australia's most important mining regions. The city is growing, diversifying, and investing heavily in infrastructure creating a strong pipeline of work and long‑term stability for skilled tradespeople.
Working a 7:7 day‑shift roster (12‑hour days, Tuesday to Monday), you'll carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Komatsu equipment. You'll work independently in the field, supported by a national network of technical experts, parts supply, and training resources.

7:7-day shift only — 12‑hour days, Tuesday to Monday
Annualised Wages:
Competitive Remuneration & Benefits + $28,600 p/annum location allowance paid weekly for technicians who lives in Mt Isa or Cloncurry

Mount Isa – travel to Cloncurry & surrounding area's

What We Are Looking For
* Trade qualification as a Mobile Plant Technician / Diesel Fitter or equivalent
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
* Understanding of local and mine‑specific HSE and industrial legislation
* Strong diagnostic skills, including onboard system analysis and troubleshooting
* Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
* Commitment to safety, compliance and mine‑site standards
* Ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining high‑quality standards
