Under guidance and support of the Director Fleet Operations, the Vehicle Cleaner Fueller, Night Supervisor will provide supervision and guidance while working in the team to ensure Transport Canberra fleet vehicles are fuelled and cleaned in accordance with the agreed standards. In addition, the Night Supervisor will support and supervise the cleaning/fuelling staff for the full duration of the evening shift, while ensuring that safety standards are adhered to. Other duties would include ensuring that adequate security of the fuelling buildings and associated equipment was maintained at the completion of the evening shift. This position is required to work under time pressure and is exposed to temperature and weather changes throughout the year.To Be Successful In This Position You Will HaveDemonstrated experience in maintaining stocktake and cleaning equipment.Previous experience in staff supervision and an ability to identify staff development requirements.Monitor workflows, set priorities to meet deadlines.Be self-motivated and follow work health and safety procedures diligently. Take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of those around you.Eligibility/Other RequirementsVisa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas.Individuals on visas with Australian working rights are eligible to apply for temporary non-ongoing roles.Drivers Licence (C-class) is mandatory, with the ability to obtain a Transport Canberra yard licence.A pre-employment criminal history check will be conducted.This position does require a pre-employment medical.This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.The ability to work rostered shifts including regular weekend overtime.Note: This position is part-time at (30:00) hours per week andthe full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
