OverviewWe are seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team, focusing on commercial and workplace furniture solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and delivering end-to-end furniture solutions for commercial environments. This includes offices, reception areas, breakout spaces, and project-based fit-outs.
This position is ideal for candidates with a basic sales foundation who are looking to further develop their business development and sales skills. Ongoing mentoring and support will be provided to help you grow in the role.
This is an onsite position based at our Head Office in Yandina, with regular travel required across your designated territory. The role has a strong focus on the Sunshine Coast region and will involve using your own vehicle to meet clients, develop new business opportunities, and manage existing relationships. About YouYou are a motivated, results-driven sales professional with a solid sales foundation and a strong desire to develop your ability to generate new business and build long-term client relationships.
You will ideally have:A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, with a willingness to develop skills in the commercial and workplace furniture sectorWillingness and enthusiasm to be mentored onsite by our experienced sales professionalsProven ability to meet or exceed sales targetsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA professional, resilient, and proactive approach to salesA valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as requiredAbility to obtain (or currently hold) a Working With Children Check
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new commercial opportunitiesRelationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and stakeholdersConsultative Selling: Understand client requirements and recommend tailored furniture solutions aligned with their space, budget, and objectivesQuoting & Specification: Prepare quotes, assist with product selection, and support project specificationsProduct Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations as requiredSales Strategy & Pipeline Management: Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle using CRM systemsCollaboration: Work closely with internal sales support, design, project management, and operations teams to ensure smooth project deliveryMarket Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunitiesReporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer engagement
