WORKSHOP TEAM LEADER (Permanent)
This significant role has the responsibility of ensuring all of Council's Fleet (400+) is maintained and operating safely for the full range of Council's activities. As the Team Leader, you will manage a modern workshop and lead a team of 4 Mechanics, a Fitter Welder, Administration Assistant and two apprentices.
Qualifications:
* Qualified and licensed motor mechanic
* Extensive experience in repairs of a diverse fleet
* Current HR licence
* Air‐conditioning repair authority issued by the ARC
* Current transport for NSW motor vehicle examiner certificate (light or heavy vehicle)
* Provide copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application
Skills & Knowledge:
* Experience in supervising and managing staff
* Experience in computerised fleet management databases
Hours of work: 38 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $91,196.56 to $100,317.88 (Grade 15) plus Superannuation, rostered day off once a fortnight and commuter use vehicle.
