Electrical Supervisor Role
Our organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join its on-site maintenance team at a major mining operation in Queensland.
The selected candidate will oversee electrical maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards, and drive team performance across site-based Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) fleets.
* Supervise and coordinate all electrical maintenance tasks to guarantee safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
* Provide leadership and technical support to electricians and trades personnel, ensuring work meets the highest standard.
* Plan and schedule electrical maintenance tasks according to operational priorities.
* Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and statutory compliance records.
* Develop a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
* Identify and implement innovative solutions to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
* Build strong relationships with other departments and external contractors.
Key Requirements:
* Electrical Trade Qualification with current Queensland Electrical License.
* Significant experience supervising electrical maintenance teams on HME.
* Strong knowledge of mining mobile plant systems, including trucks, shovels, excavators, and ancillary equipment.
* Demonstrated track record in leading teams with a focus on safety, reliability, and cost control.
* High level of computer literacy, including maintenance planning systems and Microsoft Office.
* Current Mining Supervisor – G1, G8, G9 qualifications.
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical certification or willingness to obtain.
* Current Standard 11 qualification or willingness to obtain.
