Recognised in our sector by an extensive, reputable history and broad product range, Nintendo Australia is recruiting a Finance & Process Improvement Officer to join our team on a full-time, 2-year, maximum-term contract.
Reporting into the Manager – Finance & Accounting, this role is responsible for a variety of general finance tasks, and will work closely with the Finance Department, managers, and team members of other departments.

Key requirements for the role include (but are not limited to):
* Processing payments for domestic and overseas.
* Performing vendor verification e.g. bank details and GST status.
* Processing credit card statement reconciliation, new card applications, and cancellations where required.
* Preparing daily bank reconciliations, petty cash reconciliation, and month-end reconciliation for all bank accounts and assisting with balancing / reconciling GL balances for clearing accounts.
* Working with the Assistant Manager – Digital Accounting & Data Analytics to identify, support, and lead process improvements that may lead to automation in reconciliation and data processing e.g. Power Query, Advance Excel, and AI.
* Assisting with training where needed and acting as the full back up for accounts receivable when on leave.
* Preparing monthly Adyen ecommerce reconciliations and daily Adyen journals.
* Reviewing the over 90-day report from the Purchase Order System, and following up and liaising with relevant internal departments, performing GL reviews / investigations where required.
* Stock Functions including, stocktake back up, booking in of stock, and stock adjustments and transfers.
* Assisting with end of month duties, year-end procedures, and audits where required.
To succeed in the role, you will require:
* A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience.
* A minimum qualification of Cert IV in Finance, or degree qualified.
* A high achiever with strong motivation to learn.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
* Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
