Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering Technology or alternatively, at least three years of on-the-job experience in Civil Engineering Technology, in addition to the threshold qualification, to have at least two years of work experience in Civil Engineering Technology.
**Responsibilities**:
- Reading and reviewing project blueprints to determine dimensions of structures and confer with Engineers and supervisors about preparing construction plans and evaluating field conditions, in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
- Performing and directing fieldwork and laboratory testing
- Providing support to civil engineers in the design, construction and management of
a variety of projects
- Preparing detailed building plans surveying sites and arranging for soil samples to be analyzed
- Ensuring a project matches client specification
- Calculating the amount and type of materials needed
- Ensuring work is carried out according to deadlines
- Obtaining the client's written approval before any using materials additional to quotation and ensuring client daily sign-off or at the completion of as appropriate
- Reporting timely feedback to supervisor in relation to all operational matters - improvements opportunities project site problems equipment condition/failure maintenance needs materials and spare parts needs personal performance disciplinary, etc.
