About the Role – Ongoing Full Time (part-time hours considered)
Are you ready to make a real difference in rural healthcare? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Radiographer to join our dedicated Medical Imaging team at Leongatha Memorial Hospital and Korumburra Hospital. Ideally, this is a full-time position however flexible working arrangement or part-time hours will be considered.
You will be an integral member of the Medical Imaging Department, supported by experienced Radiographers and a team of exceptional Radiologists from the Imaging Associates Group.
Your primary responsibility will be the provision of high-quality ultrasound services to the South Gippsland community. You will report directly to the Medical Imaging Manager. The Medical Imaging Department is situated over two campuses and provides CT, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, and bone densitometry at Leongatha. A satellite department is located at Korumburra and provides X-ray and ultrasound services.
Experience in CT and / or mammography is desirable but not essential as there will be opportunity for ongoing education and training in other imaging modalities.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise the patient flow for the area which you are rostered (CT, General X-Ray, Theatre & Bone Densitometry)
* Completing examinations in an efficient and timely manner
* Ensuring the correct equipment and consumables are available
* General troubleshooting of equipment
* The supervision of student radiographers when on placement
* Effective communication between clinical and non-clinical staff
Our normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with a requirement to participate in the after-hours call roster for CT and X-Ray. Operationally, you will report to the Radiology Manager.

Mandatory Requirements
* Degree qualified (Medical Imaging Science or similar)
* AHPRA Registered Radiographer
* Experience in CT and/or mammography (preferred)
* A Police Check that is valid and within 12 months of the issue date
* Current Working with Children's check
* Current Victorian Drivers Licence
* Entitlement to work within Australia
* Provision of an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
* Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions
