Position Information:
We are seeking motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Holt Village. This position will focus on coordinating the maintenance department ensuring they deliver a wide range of maintenance tasks around the village, including building and garden maintenance creating a homely environment for our residents to enjoy.
About the role:
A trade qualification and/or demonstrated extensive experience in building, general maintenance & gardening/grounds maintenanceDemonstrated gardening, building and maintenance skillsKnowledge of and commitment to WH&S responsibilitiesFirst Aid Certificate and Current Driver's LicenceGood Communication and interpersonal skillsSound Computer literacy skillsExcellent people skills and empathy for older people living in residential care and retirement village settingA willingness to participate in risk management and continuous quality improvement

What you need to be considered:
General maintenance and handyman tasks around the villageIdentifying, managing and resolve defects in the villageMaintaining all garden areas ensuring they are well keptSupervising and coordinating external contractors in servicing the villageCoordinate the maintenance programConduct quality processes including audits
You must have or be able to obtain a current National Police Check and be willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Functional Assessment to be considered for this position. All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
