Job Opportunity:
A seasoned professional will play a vital role in the administration of construction projects, ensuring adherence to contract regulations and laws. The ideal candidate will have experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects and possess a comprehensive understanding of contract law principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules
* Assistance with progress claims and external variations
* Review, negotiation, and finalization of subcontracts
* Management and tracking of project expenditure, including subcontractor claims
* Administration of RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
* Administration of the project HSE system
Requirements:
* Senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set
* Experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
* Demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
* Industry relevant degree qualification
* Familiarity with Contract Law principles & construction specific Acts, codes, and Regulations
* Confident and collaborative communicator
* Self-motivated and ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
* Appreciative of process and systems
