Senior People and Culture Advisor – Diversity and Inclusion

As part of the Workforce Diversity and Resourcing team, you will partner with leaders and teams to embed inclusive practices across recruitment, development and retention, ensuring our workforce reflects the diverse communities we serve.
You will lead meaningful and impactful initiatives such as targeted traineeships that create pathways, strengthen representation and expand opportunities for underrepresented groups. In this key advisory role, you will support the development and implementation of Council-wide strategies that promote workforce inclusion, accessibility and equity, contributing to Council's commitment to being an employer of choice.
Salary: $96,096.00 - $104,541.32 + 12% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in human resources, social sciences, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent experience in diversity, equity and inclusion roles
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing DEI strategies and workforce inclusion initiatives
* Strong understanding of accessibility, equity, and barriers faced by underrepresented groups in employment
* Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of an organization through excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
* Experience in data analysis and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within set timeframes
