Carbon Logica is a growing business focused on practical, real‑world carbon abatement for the mining industry. We build, own and operate coal mine waste gas power station facilities that reduce emissions from metallurgical coal mines. We're expanding our operations and preparing to commission our third power station project.
We're seeking an Electrical Operator with industrial experience in mining, power generation or heavy industry. You'll be confident working with LV and HV systems, generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS and battery systems in an operational environment. Experience with SCADA systems, instrumentation and controls is highly regarded. While your core skillset is electrical, you'll also play an active role in the overall operation of the power station. You'll work closely with mechanical operators, supporting routine plant tasks and contributing to overall plant performance. We're looking for someone who is curious about the whole gas power station system.
You'll bring ideas, take initiative, and follow through to keep the operation moving. You'll help shape simple, operations processes that support safe, consistent and compliant work. You will join a small, dedicated team that takes pride in maintaining high standards and supporting each other, ensuring the site is reliable and running well from shift to shift.

What You'll Do
* Operate power station plant and electrical equipment
* Maintain electrical assets in line with Australian standards and maintenance schedules, including localisation of European equipment where required
* Perform routine inspections to ensure safe, reliable performance and compliance with Australian Standards
* Monitor plant performance through SCADA and provide support for control system and instrumentation assets.
* Identify and implement plant reliability improvements
* Represent Carbon Logica in mine interactions and manage contractors on site including issuing permits to work
* Perform HV switching within authorisation as required
* Follow Carbon Logica's HSE and maintenance management systems
* Manage site inventory and electrical spares, escort deliveries, and maintain site housekeeping
What We're Looking For
* Electrical trade qualification and current QLD Electrical Licence
* Current driver's licence, CPR/LVR and EWP high risk work licence
* Strong work ethic, initiative, and clear communication
* Curious, proactive, and confident working independently
* Experience in mining, power generation or heavy industry
* Standard 11, working at heights, first aid certificate (or ability to obtain prior to starting)
* HV and/or EEHA qualifications advantageous
* Permanent residency or Australian citizenship required
