Candidates must also be willing to participate with customers in swimming activities.A typical day as a Support Worker may look like:Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve themJoining customers in recreational activities such as swimming, dancing, bingo, horseback riding, going to the gym, bowling and moreSupporting customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointmentsEnsuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; andAdministration duties and mandatory daily reports.The ideal candidate will:Be qualified in Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) - EssentialLive locally in the Bunbury regionHave willingness to support customers of any gender by assisting with personal care (showering, toileting) and domestic duties (meal preparation, housekeeping)Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.Passion for providing service and assistance and helping others live their best lives.Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration.Proven administration and computer literacy skills.A valid driver’s licence and a willingness to use your private vehicle (with rebates available).We are Activ.
