Earnings: Up to AUD $1,000,000+ per year (£ 500K) (public + private billing)

An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join a leading surgical network in the Melbourne region, offering a unique mix of public hospital work combined with high-demand private practice.
This role is suited to surgeons seeking both clinical variety and high earning potential, supported by a collaborative, well-established team. With a strong referral base, modern theatres, and advanced reconstructive & aesthetic capabilities, surgeons can rapidly build a full caseload while enjoying one of Australia's most liveable cities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a broad range of reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures
* Participate in elective, trauma, and complex reconstructive surgery
* Provide inpatient and outpatient care across both public and private settings
* Supervise, mentor, and support junior medical staff and trainees
* Engage in clinical governance, CME activities, and service development
* Contribute to research or academic activity if desired
Candidate Requirements
* Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent)
* Specialist qualification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
(e.g. FRCS(Plast), American Board, Royal College of Canada, European Board, FRACS-equivalent, or South African specialist registration)
* Eligible for AHPRA Specialist Registration
* Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centred care
* Experience across both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery preferred
