**About the role**:

- The Administration / Property Officer role provides an essential service supporting the everyday running of the police stations within the Ballarat area. The usual place of work will be within one of the police stations in the Ballarat city. However, you may also be required to work at other locations within the Western Region Division 3.
- Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

**Your duties will include**:

- Undertaking a range of administrative functions including the maintenance and management of various records and registers (manual and computerised) within a Region/Department/Command.
- Prepare a wide range of routine correspondence, financial, personnel, statistical and other various types of transactions and ensure appropriate follow-up action is taken when required.
- Management and administration of the storage of the Station and Command lost and confiscated property and confidential documentation.
- Attend to telephone and counter enquiries from both internal and external key stakeholders.
- Undertake courier and other distribution/transportation functions as required.

**About You**:

- Proven administrative experience particularly in relation to word processing and data entry.
- An understanding of warehousing and or archiving systems.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively with both internal and external key stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines.
- Adaptable with ability to move between work locations on a regular basis.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- An understanding of the customer service requirements of the position and a demonstrated record of commitment and achievement in meeting customer needs.
- History of ethical behaviour with commitment to the Victoria Police Code of Ethics and Conduct, Financial Code of Practice, and the Organisational Values.

**Further Information**:

- One (1) VPS2 x full-time, ongoing position available.
- The usual place of work will be within a Ballarat City Police Station. However, you may be expected to work out of any location within Western Region Division 3, as required.
