Labourforce is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Picker / Forklift Operator / Warehouse Administrator to join a well-established and industry-leading steel manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is confident operating forklifts, completing inventory tasks, and assisting with customer interactions.
Shift Times
Applicants MUST be available for both shifts:
* 6:00AM – 2:00PM
* 10:00AM – 6:00PM
Pay Rate
$37.35 per hour + Super
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Accurately picking and packing customer orders
* Loading and unloading trucks, supplier deliveries, and customer collections
* Conducting cyclic stock counts and stocktake activities
* Using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
* Assisting customers with Order Pick-Ups (OPU) and general customer service support
* Supporting warehouse and sheds teams when required
* Performing floor searches and site sweeps
* Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards (5S)
* Following all WH&S procedures and PPE requirements
* Completing general administration and computer-based tasks
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Previous experience in a warehouse/stores environment
* Current Forklift Licence (High Risk Licence – Essential)
* Experience operating forklifts and side loaders
* RF scanning experience
* Cycle counting / stocktake experience
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Basic computer and administration experience
* Reliable attitude with a strong work ethic and team-first mindset
