The College operates at Gordonvale, 20 minutes south of Cairns
The Property Grounds Person/s is a crucial member of the College in providing efficient support across the large campus.
The successful applicant must have a current Blue Card before commencing in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Property Grounds Person:
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of school facilities.
* Address any repairs needed to grounds equipment.
* Assist in the upkeep of school grounds and gardens.
* Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Qualifications
* Valid MR (preferred) or above driver's license with a clean driving record
* Blue Card for working with Children
* Skills in basic property maintenance and repair work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of students.
* Chain saw certificate
* Chemical handling certificate
* Skills in basic grounds maintenance i.e mowing, hedge cutting etc
