About the role
The Outback Bakery, an award-winning, leading local bakery in Fannie Bay NT 0820, is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for crafting delicious breads, pies, pastries and other baked goods to delight our customers. Sponsorship available.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods to exceptional standards
* Ensure all products adhere to recipes and consistently meet quality and presentation requirements
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety procedures
* Mentor and train junior team members
* 2am starts
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of producing high-quality baked goods to exacting standards
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
* Passion for baking and a commitment to creating delicious, innovative products
* Positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
