We're looking for a new Sales Consultant who will join the team in providing an exceptional experience for our customers.

About the Role
Our Sales Consultants are the heartbeat of our business. In this new role, you will curate & create spaces that your clients love using the beautiful items on offer in our showroom.
While every day is different at GT&B, the one constant guarantee is that you'll spend your day providing an inspiring and knowledgeable experience for every customer that walks through our doors.
You'll work with and maintain relationships with new and existing builders, interior designers, architects, and retail customers to ensure their project runs smoothly from engagement to completion.
Our unique approach to customer service is what our business is built on. So, to be considered for this role, it is critical that you have an inherently professional, engaging, and vibrant personality that enables you to create a first impression that aligns with our GT&B culture and vibe.
Responsibilities will include:
* Client consultation in the retail showroom
* Assisting clients throughout the design & product selection process
* Providing design solutions to suit both clients' needs & aesthetic
* Estimating product costs & submitting quotes for client approval
* Following up on quotes & processing client payments
* High level of client/contractor communication through the design process
* Maintaining & updating the showroom & products library
* Liaising with suppliers & representatives
About You
* To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a similar role and possess the following:
* Passion for design, customer service and always providing people with a great and knowledgeable experience
* A basic understanding of the building industry
* A strong and punctual work ethic coupled with an energetic attitude
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Competency across Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
* An ability to identify issues and resolve them proactively
* Industry experience in interior design and sales is highly desirable, but not essential
* A deep obsession for tiled surfaces and brass tapware is essential (not really – but give it a month and you'll be just as obsessed as us)
