We are seeking a highly motivated Workforce Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for various positions within the organisation. The Workforce Support Officer works closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective strategies to help build a team that truly makes a difference in the lives of older Australians across regional South Australia.
Responsibilities:
* Use workflow-based procedures to source, screen and manage compliance checks to identify potential candidates
* Conduct phone interviews and coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
* Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including job postings, candidate communication, offer letters and onboarding
* Coordinate and track onboarding and induction training, annual mandatory training, CPD upgrades and competency checks
* Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to aged care recruitment and hiring
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Certificate or qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Training and Development or related field
* Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Knowledge of recruitment best practices and trends
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
