What You'll Be Doing:
* Oversee all aspects of broiler chicken production: bird health, welfare, feeding, and pickup
* Manage 2 farmhands, set schedules, and promote a safety-first, team-based culture
* Monitor performance KPIs (FCR, mortality, weights) and drive operational improvements
* Coordinate with Inghams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and production goals are met
* Use our digital systems (Rapid Global, MEX) for safety, maintenance, and reporting
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience managing or assisting in livestock or poultry operations
* Strong planning, leadership, and communication skills – team-first mindset is essential
* A calm, structured operator who can lead from the front and make the most of quiet vs. busy periods in the production cycle
* Comfortable with remote/rural living and 24/7 alarm responsibilities (must live on site)
* Bonus if you've worked with SKOV systems, WHS programs, or liaised directly with processors
