We are seeking experienced dog groomers to join our team in Berwick. This is an exciting chance to work in a positive and friendly environment, providing exceptional grooming services and caring for dogs.
Responsibilities
- Performing full-service dog grooming, including bathing (if bathers not available), brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, trimming coat, and styling dogs according to their breed and the customer's preferences
- Handling dogs in a calm and gentle manner to ensure their comfort and safety
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any client inquiries or concerns
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment, including cleaning grooming equipment
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and animal welfare regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 6 month of experience in dog grooming.
- Energetic and physically fit- able to stand for long periods of time, as you are on your feet all day. must be willing to groom larger dogs
- Sound knowledge of dog breeds, grooming techniques, and pet health and safety
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Certification in dog grooming or a related field is preferred, but not essential
Employment Type
